Hi, I'm Lizzie, founder and principal medical writer at elmo.

I am a former research scientist with a passion for medical communications. I have a PhD from Guys, Kings and St Thomas’ School of Medicine and have been working in medical communications since 2006. I live and work in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, have two children and love to travel.

Building upon a background in academia, 20 years of experience within medical communications has provided me with the skills necessary to work to tight deadlines and to communicate accurate scientific and wellness content. 

I created elmo in 2011 with a vision to provide personalised, high-quality medical writing support that goes beyond just writing documents. I am a member of the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) and through elmo, I have developed a network of experienced medical writers, editors, and QC specialists who help me provide more than just medical writing services.
